We love friend visits!

Every few months we are graced with the presence of Allie and her family. Although they aren't just here to visit us, we always appreciate the visit just the same.

Dec. 2011 - JADE decorating Santa cookies with coconut and saying "nooooooooooooo" for "snow" - it's the cutest! Jan. 2011 - JAMES brought me a push pin that had fallen off the wall and said, "Mommy, I found an owie." Feb. 2011 - JAMES learned a lot about the planets at school and came home with his own idea: "Before we were born there were penguins on Saturn." Feb. 2011 - JADE - learned to say apple, will point at body parts and really loves looking at books on her own. Mar. 2011 - JAMES has been saying lots of prayers for the Elders in our branch, Elder Cabrera and Elder Esplin. This morning he said, "We thank thee for the Elders that they will be fine and keep the commandments well." March 7, 2011 - JAMES started talking about names and asked me my middle name. I told him that I kept my last name from before I married Daddy. He said, "I'm getting married soon." Me, "Oh really, when?" James, "When I'm 12 I'm going to get married too." Guess I better start preparing. At least had no one particular girl in mind. March 10, 2011 - JADE learned from Daddy how to say I love you in Spanish, "Yo....te.....amo." Her English version is just, "Iluuu," but still adorable, of course. March 2011 - JAMES saw the Harley Davidson shop in Longview when we were driving by and said, "That's where Granny Chris & Papa Boone live." April 2011 - JADE was looking out the window as we drove at night and yelled out, "Mommy, mommy - Luna! Luna!" Luna is moon in Spanish. So cute!
