Another Snow Day?! Inconceivable!!!

TJ and I have no recollection of 2 snow days, 2 winters in a row growing up in East Texas. I believe our kids have truly lucked out. James has experienced snow every winter of his life, and three out of five he didn't have to travel out-of-state for.


March 2008 - James at 17 months old
Yes, it snowed in March in East Texas - that was a crazy day.





February 2010 - James at 3 years old at Ingram Park sledding and building first snow man with Daddy.







2nd Snow of 2010-2011 Winter (that's actually 3 times snowing within a year time period.) I can't recall this ever happening before.







James started to take off with the sled so Jade through a fit because she wanted to ride! All the snow melted by the next morning, but we had left the sled out on the grass. Jade saw it when we went outside and immediately sat down in the sled again and wanted a ride. So I pulled her around in the mushy grass. It wasn't quite the same without the snow, but she still enjoyed sledding.








Here's hoping all this East Texas snow experience doesn't spoil our children into thinking this is an annual occurrence. There's always Utah!
